Alan has completed a course in Aged Care Financial Strategy and is accredited to give advice in this area in his capacity as a financial planner.
He completed his Diploma in Financial Planning in 1992 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 1993. On 5 occasions Alan received the award of St George Financial Planner of the year and was twice a finalist in the George employee of the year award.In 2008, Alan accepted St George’s offer to transfer from the St George financial planning dealership to the Securitor Group and become self employed. On a personal note, Alan has served in local government for three terms in the former Greater Taree City Council first becoming elected in 2004 and re-elected 2008 and 2012 serving as Deputy Mayor.
Narelle has also worked with Alan either in her capacity as a St George Customer Service officer where she excelled to the point of being named Employee of the Year by the then St George Building Society in 1990 or as a Financial Planning assistant since 1995.
Narelle’s principal role is to help Alan with progress work on new and existing clients as well as advice documentation and preparation.
Narelle has completed her Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) and has completed studies to be accredited in providing aged care financial strategy solutions.
